Comhdháil Teagaisc 2025 brings over 185 educators to UCC for Irish-language teaching conference
The annual Comhdháil Teagaisc conference, focusing on the teaching of Irish at second level and organized by the Department of Modern Irish, UCC, was held on 17 September 2025. Dr Síle Ní Murchú, Head of Roinn na Nua-Ghaeilge officially opened the Conference which was supported by the Cork Education and Training Board and COGG. Two panels of speakers, including Diarmaid Mac Mathúna (GaelGram), Iseult Ní Chonchubhair, Aoife Ní Mhurchú, Ógie Ó Céilleachair, Sinéad Lewis, Sinéad Ní Dhonnchú and Karolyn Ní Dhúnaigh, shared their expertise in the Aula Maxima and in the Council Room, UCC on a wide range of topics. There were over 185 people in attendance at the Conference.
