DRIVING – FROM CITY CENTRE (ST. PATRICK’S STREET):

The Marine Geosciences Research Group is based in the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences, at UCC’s North Mall Campus in Cork City. Our offices are spread throughout the Butler Building (top floor).

Turn left at the North end of St. Patrick’s Street, and travel along the South side of the quays as far as Griffith Bridge (next to Gate Cinema). Cross over Griffith Bridge and turn left along North Mall for approx 250m. The entrance to UCC’s North Mall Campus is on your left, at the bend in the road. The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences is located in the Enterprise Centre.

WALKING – FROM UCC MAIN CAMPUS:

The UCC Campus Map shows a full map of the UCC campus. The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences is a short (approx. 8 minutes) walk from the main campus. Exit the main campus gate at the corner of Western Road and O’Donovan’s Road. Cross Western Road and Mardyke Walk, and take the River Walk through the park and over the bridge onto the North Mall Campus. The School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences is located in the Enterprise Centre and the Butler Building.
