Erasmus (European partner universities)
European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC)
The European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC) consists of ten universities situated in different countries throughout Europe, representing ten different post-industrial cities.
UCC students can apply to study abroad at one of the following universities.
- Students should ensure that the available modules align with their UCC degree requirements.
- Please note that exchange places are limited

BComm Partner Universities- Study Abroad
BComm grade requirements to apply to study abroad (subject to change)
BComm (Hons) - CK201 | University College Cork, Ireland
- at least 55% in their first attempt of the First University Examination in Commerce, and
- pass all modules and obtain at least 60% in the first semester of the Second University Examination in Commerce.
- Due to demand, there is a limit on the number of students permitted to study abroad.
- Studying abroad is not guaranteed
- Students interested in studying outside the EU must have-
- at least 60% in their first attempt of the First University Examination in Commerce, and
- pass all modules and obtain at least 60% in the first semester of the Second University Examination in Commerce.

Grade requirements
- Departments may set grade requiremens for their students.

Students registered for an international pathway (mandatory year abroad)
- School of Asian Studies: Your study abroad period is managed by your coordinator. Please check with them for their academic requirements
- Students studying in Latin America: Your study abroad period is managed by your coordinator. Please check with your coordinator for academic requirements
Outside of the EU (Australia, Canada, USA and Singapore)
- Students are required to have an overall grade of 2.1 (60%) in first year and 60% in first semester of 2nd year to be considered.
- Australia: Only suitable for students studying abroad in semester 2 of 3rd year
- University of California system: Only students with a high first class honours will be considered
Scholarships:
- George Mitchell Scholarship- A semester at the University of Maine, USA (open to students studying abroad during 3rd year only)
- George Mitchell Peace Scholarship
