IGNITE 2017/2018 is now open for applications. The announcement was made at the IGNITE Open Information Evening in UCC's Western Gateway Building on 4th April. The programme is open for applications until Friday, May 26th.

Biotech company Anabio Technologies Ltd has announced that it will invest €200,000 in a New Product Development facility at Teagasc’s Food Research Centre in Fermoy, Co. Cork and grow the workforce to 24 over the coming 12 months.

Pat Falvey is best known as a mountaineer, an adventurer and an explorer. Mike McGrath, founder of Supply.ie emerged as the principal winner at the inaugural awards ceremony of UCC’s IGNITE programme. As well as receiving the “Most Collegial” award as nominated by his peers on the Programme, Supply.ie won the Best Company award.

University College Cork (UCC) has achieved the unique status of becoming Ireland’s first five star university and has once again improved its position in world rankings announced today (September 5th 2011) in the QS World University Rankings.
The MSc (Innovation, Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship) commencing in September 2011, is a full-time one year programme offering a multi-disciplinary perspective on Innovation, Commercialistion and Entrepreneurship.
Applications are now being welcomed from graduates of any discipline, from any 3rd level institution for IGNITE 2011/2012.
