Applications Now Open for SheBuilds at UCC
A new summer entrepreneurship programme empowering women across the UCC community.
Applications are now open for SheBuilds, a new entrepreneurship programme from UCC designed to support women across the UCC community in exploring ideas, building confidence and developing entrepreneurial skills.
Running from 13–30 July 2026, SheBuilds is a free programme bringing together women who are curious about entrepreneurship, regardless of their academic background or previous experience.
What is SheBuilds?
SheBuilds is a six session summer programme that provides participants with the opportunity to explore entrepreneurial thinking in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Through interactive workshops, mentoring and founder talks, participants will develop practical skills, build confidence and connect with a community of women interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to women across the UCC community, including:
- Undergraduate students
- Postgraduate students
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Recent UCC graduates
No previous business experience or fully developed business idea is required. SheBuilds is designed for anyone interested in exploring entrepreneurship and taking the first step.
What participants will gain
Throughout the programme, participants will:
- Explore and develop new ideas
- Learn practical entrepreneurial tools and techniques
- Hear from experienced founders and mentors
- Build confidence through hands on workshops
- Connect with like minded women from across UCC
