Project Tasks

Two research assistants (who are qualified Speech and Language Therapists) will conduct all assessments in a quiet, child-friendly room either at the child’s school, in the Brookfield speech and language therapy clinic at University College Cork or at another clinic in south Munster.

Each child will be assessed using a number of assessment procedures over two to three days (they do not have to be on consecutive days). Each session would take about an hour, with breaks between assessment tasks. These assessments are commonly used by speech and language therapists.
