Radio Programme Dedicated to Norse Mythology and its Legacy
The School's lecturer in Old English took part in an episode of Newstalk's 'Talking History' show on Sunday evening, alongside panelists from Ireland, the US and Iceland. The theme of the programme was 'Norse Mythology and its Legacy', and ranged from talk of the Battle of Clontarf and its representation in literature, to the misappropriation of the Norse gods by white supremacists.
