Student Success in International Undergraduate Awards
14 Sep 2017

Three School of English students have been highly commended for the Undergraduate Awards
The School extends its congratulations to three undergraduate students in the School of English, whose essays were highly commended in the 2017 Undergraduate Awards. The IUA is the world’s leading undergraduate awards programme which recognises top undergraduate work, shares this work with a global audience and connects students across cultures and disciplines.
The students recommended for awards were Martha Quirke (with an essay for Clíona Ó Gallchoir), Victoria Lester (with an essay for Ken Rooney), and Joseph McCarthy (with an essay for Ken Rooney). All three are amongst the shortlist of entrants from whom the overall winner will be picked.
We wish Martha, Victoria and Joe the very best of luck in the next stage of the awards.
