Empowering Leadership: Lessons from St. Bridget
Mná@UCC collaborated with the Women in Business & Leadership Student Society (WIBL) on an event celebrating Naomh Bríd / St. Bridget on January 29th last in the Creative Zone with over 50 attendees.
Dr. Aoife Granville presented us with the story of the life and legacy of St. Bridget, exploring her leadership qualities and how they can be applied in modern contexts. A panel discussion followed between Mná@UCC Co-Chair Clíodhna O'Callaghan, WIBL Co-Chairs Carmel O'Donoghue and Kate Tompkins and UCC Lecturer, Dr. Aoife Granville. A wonderful St. Bridget Cross making workshop followed with an opportunity for networking. A special mention of thanks to the brilliant Dr. Aoife Granville and inspiring students we collaborated with on this, Carmel, Kate and all at WIBL.
