Things I Never Dared to Ask my Minority Friends
UCC South East Asian Society (SEASoc) is planning a dialogue event for later this month (tentatively 26 Nov) along the theme of "Things I Never Dared to Ask My Ethnic Minority Friends".
Following the theme, we plan to have an open dialogue addressing the misconceptions and gaps in understanding of the lives of ethnic minorities here. This may include racial stereotyping, elaborating on differences in lifestyles/cultures/perspectives and drawing from the experiences of students of ethnic minorities to pave the way for a rich discussion. Questions would be moderated to ensure that a safe space for open conversation is made available to all.
All welcome. Organised by SEASoc
