International Transgender Day of Visibility

International Transgender Day of Visibility has been held every year on 31 March since 2004. 

In a context of an increase in trans visibility and a concurrent rise in transphobia, the LGBT+ Staff Network is delighted to announce a schedule of events where the UCC community will celebrate transgender visibility and demonstrate our solidarity. 

To mark the event this year, the Trans Pride flag will be flown in the quad tomorrow and  UCC will be lit with the colours of the Trans Pride flag tomorrow evening.  Thank you to the Interim President and to Building and Estates for facilitating these events.
