Men's Health
Men on the island of Ireland, experience a disproportionate burden of ill-health.
Men in Ireland are reluctant users of health services and continue to
present too late in the course of an illness.
Men are dying too young!
Many of the conditions that lead to ill health and shorter life expectancies are preventable.
In support of Movember, Staff Wellbeing have organised a talk to raise awareness and educate around Men’s Health. This will discuss the range of male related illness, preventative measures, self-checks, engaging with health services etc.
We invite all staff, men and women, to attend.
Date: Thursday, 28th November
Time: 1pm to 2pm
Venue: Room 244, O’Rahilly Building
Facilitator: Dr. Sujil Jacob, Cognate Health, Occupational Health Provider
All welcome. Organised by UCC Staff Wellbeing
