Islamic Cultural Evening

In collaboration with the Cork Malaysian Students Association, the Islamic Society is organising a Cultural Night. This event is to portray the various cultures of muslims around the world through food. Taste over 15 cuisines and enjoy other activities including Henna painting, hijab styling, calligraphy art, quizzes and exhibitions. We would like to invite you and the other chaplaincy members to attend the Cultural Night!

The main aim of this event is to help collect donations for the orphan sponsorship programme under Islamic Relief Ireland. The target is to raise 420euro (a whole year expenses) for a 9 year old from Albania. All proceeds will be donated to this charity cause.

We are also promoting a green campus. So please bring your own food container (or with an extra 1euro we will provide you with a reusable food container!)

p/s there will be prizes given to quiz winners and best dressed in their cultural clothing!
