Sesquicentennial birthday of Mahatma Gandhi
On behalf of the President's Office and the Embassy of India, the South Asia Regional Working Group, the UCC Indian Society and Indian Alumni Association extend an open invitation to attend an event commemorating the sesquicentennial birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.
Arrangements as follows:
Tree Planting Ceremony at the President's Garden on the 31st October 2019 at 2:15 pm followed by an informal gathering at the Aula Maxima, UCC Main Quadrangle.
As part of this event, the Embassy of India and the Indian Film Festival of Ireland have sponsored a special screening of the Hindi feature film 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' which takes place on Friday, 1st November 2019 in the Kane Building G19 at 7:00 pm (runtime 2hrs24mins).
