Exploring Ireland's Cultural Identity through the Art of the Honan Chapel
Historians Dr Damian Bracken and Dr Malgorzata Krasnodebska-D'Aughton, School of History, join James Cronin, Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching & Learning (CIRTL), to discuss the the rich interplay between cultural politics, the decorative arts, and the idea of the university at the turn of the 20th century through a close reading of the decorative interior of the Honan Chapel as a gem of the Irish Arts & Crafts movement (1886-1925).
