Taking steps towards gender equality in Schools, Departments and Centres: Insights from the GENOVATE Project
n behalf of the College of Medicine and Health Athena SWAN Steering Group, staff in the College are cordially invited to a lunchtime presentation on October 23rd. This is of interest to all College of Medicine & Health Schools that are engaging with, or interested in engaging with Athena SWAN.
When and where: 23rd of October, from 1.10-1.50 in Room 1.19 Brookfield Health Science Campus.

Further details on the speaker: Dr. Caitriona Ni Laoire is a Senior Lecturer in UCC’s School of Applied Social Studies, and Deputy Director of ISS21, the Institute for Social Science in the 21st Century. Dr. Ni Laoire was the Scientific Coordinator for the GENOVATE project (GENOVATE: Transforming organisational cultures for gender equality in research and innovation; FP7 Science and Society; 2013-2016) and Principal Investigator for Through the Glass Ceiling: Career progression for women academics and researchers; Pobal Equality for Women Measure; 2010-2011. Dr. Ni Laoire is a member of UCC’s Athena SWAN Steering Group and is her School’s representative on the CACSSS Athena SWAN Steering Group.
