Stonewall Revolution: 50 years of LGBT Liberation
We'd like to invite you to an exhibition launch of the "Stonewall Revolution: 50 years of LGBT Liberation" - a small exhibition of photos and text curated by Deirdre Swain that was recently on display in Cork City Library.
The UCC launch will take place in the Boole Library's foyer on Friday, 4th October at 5pm. The exhibition's curator will give a short talk on one of the forgotten protagonists of the Stonewall Revolution, Stormé DeLarverie, and this talk will be followed by a short drinks reception.
The exhibition will be on display in the Boole Library foyer between 4th-30th October. We hope you come along to the launch, and that you will enjoy the exhibition. All welcome - please forward the invitation to anyone who may be interested.
Thanks to our colleagues in the Boole Library for their assistance in making this exhibition possible.
This launch event is taking place as part of UCC's Community Week programme of events (https://www.ucc.ie/en/civic/communityweek/maincampus/ ).
Best wishes from
The UCC LGBT+ Staff Network Committee
