The 67th Annual Irish Gerontological Society Meeting will be held on September 26th-28th,, 2019 in the Clayton Silversprings Hotel, Cork. In advance of the meeting, the ISS21 Ageing Cluster is organising a workshop to discuss the current themes in ageing research in Ireland, showcase UCC research, and foster networking and participation in the IGS from researchers interested in different aspects of ageing.

- Jessica O’Brien, Applied Psychology: Can faulty sensory integration cause falls and be ameliorated by exercise in ageing?
- Cormac Sheehan, General Practice: A beautiful disaster: Life and ageing after Woodstock 1969;
- Hadley Pfalzgraf, Biochemistry: Improving brain rhythms using sound;
- Emmy Racine, Public Health: The Studying Age Friendly Environments (SAFE) project;
