This webinar will explore the emerging role of online food retail systems for sustainability in the Irish market. The webinar will provide a ‘map’ or overview of the online food providers in Ireland followed by a panel discussion with online retailers, who will share their experience with providing an online service to consumers, and research on consumer perspectives from the PLATEFORMS research team based in Cork University Business School.
The PLATEFORMS project aims to produce in-depth knowledge on how food practices in the home are affected by new innovations in food provisioning platforms, such as online shopping. Together, we will explore areas of innovation and the potential value of these new platforms in enhancing the sustainability of food practices within households.
