This November students at UCC are involved in a global festival of short theatrical plays (CCTA 2023) tackling the climate crisis in collaboration with the Arts & Climate Initiative and the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts. Staged theatrical readings will be presented. This is a collaborative effort between students in departments of theater at UCC, Undergraduate students will perform, directed by students in the MA in Theatre and Performative Arts. Combining humor, poetic verse, and song, and utilizing performance to bring communities together to act on climate change. A short talkback will follow the production.
