Zine-making workshop
25 Apr 2025On April 2nd 2025 a Feminist Visual Activism Zine-making workshop was held at UCC. The workshop was organised by Kylie Thomas, as part of her research and teaching on feminist visual activism. Future plans include workshops at UCC with the artists and zine-makers of the Cork Zine Fest.

Early-career researchers recognised in the Researcher of the Year 2024 awards
17 Jan 2025Two University College Cork (UCC) researchers are among the winners in the Researcher of the Year (IRC legacy) 2024 awards. Dr Aaron Lim, from the Department of Geography was named Early Career Researcher of the Year, and Dr Luiza Wasiewska, from Tyndall National Institute and APC Microbiome Ireland, was awarded the Thomas Mitchell Medal of Excellence.
