University College Cork and Cork Opera House announce call for 2025 Theatre Artist-in-Residence

Professor Jools Gilson, Professor of Creative Practice, University College Cork, and Eibhlín Gleeson, Chief Executive, Cork Opera House.

One-year bursary of €20k to provide an opportunity for a professional Theatre Artist who is also an international migrant, refugee or asylum seeker.
The residency aims to provide a supportive environment where the artist can freely explore their practice.
2025 Call for a Theatre Artist-in-Residence is supported by UCC’s University of Sanctuary programme.
