Taoiseach awards Research Ireland St Patrick’s Day Medal to UCC Arts alumnus Michael Dowling

- Healthcare pioneer Mr Dowling graduated from UCC with Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics.
- As President and CEO of Northwell Health, Mr Dowling oversees the largest healthcare provider in New York State, caring for over 2 million people annually through a network of 21 hospitals and over 900 outpatient facilities.
- The award honours academic and industry leaders in the US, including their contribution to Irish research and collaboration between Ireland and the US.
