We were delighted to host 45 Transition Year students from Presentation College, Cork to complete the DNA workshop, on the 14^th of November. 

The Biochemistry & Biotechnology Society held a placement information seminar on Thursday 2nd November.

The Professor Art Champlin Gold Medal Award for academic excellence in Biochemistry, was presented to Fergal Cremin by Professor John O'Halloran, President, UCC, and Professor Justin McCarthy, Head of School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, UCC on the 14th November 2023.

The conferring ceremony for our BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Genetics students was held on Tuesday 14th November. 

Congratulations to Gavin Buckley (BSc Biomedical Science(UCC/MTU) who won the President's Prize at the BioMedica Science Annual Conference.
