Increased funding for ERC researchers moving to Europe

ERC has increased their budget for leading researchers wishing to move to Europe through European Research Council grants. They now offer an additional 1 million euro beyond the usual maximum grant to set up a laboratory or research team. The first call is the highly competitive Advanced Grant, deadline August 2025, for established researchers with a strong track record and an ambitious  research idea to advance their field.
