Dr Ita Fitzgerald Successfully Defends PhD on Antipsychotic Weight Management

Senior pharmacist Dr Ita Fitzgerald (St Patrick's University Hospital) has defended her PhD thesis: 'The Management of Antipsychotic-Induced Weight Gain' under supervisors Prof Laura Sahm, School of Pharmacy and Dr Erin Crowley, Cancer Research @UCC.

Her work bridges critical gaps between mental health pharmacotherapy research and clinical practice.
