The Seán Ó Ríordáin Scholarship is sponsored by UCC's Bord na Gaeilge and celebrates the memory of renowned Cork poet Seán Ó Ríordáin who worked for a number of years in the Department of Irish, UCC.  The scholarship is awarded annually to pupils of Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin and enables the recipient to spend three enjoyable weeks in the Irish speaking environment of the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht.
