Speaking at launch, Dr Denis Staunton, Director of Access at UCC congratulating all involved said: “The objective of the booklet is to inspire prospective students with disabilities to consider UCC, as an option for higher education.”
Many of the graduates featured in the booklet have progressed on to either post graduate education or employment thereby confirming the ability of students with disabilities to achieve their goals.
All the graduates cite their positive experience of studying in UCC outlining the programmes they pursued, friends they made and the valuable support they got from the Disability Support Service over the years.
