The prestigious programme is in its tenth year and Andrea is only the third European person to earn a place on the programme and the first ever Irish participant. The APLP is the center of excellence for leadership education in Asia Pacific and a signature programme of the East-West Centre at the University of Hawaii. The programme links advanced and interdisciplinary analysis of emergent regional issues with experiential leadership learning. It empowers future leaders with the knowledge, skills, experiences and supportive community needed to successfully navigate personal and regional change in the 21st century.
