IOSH Ireland Development Manager, Norita Robinson is delighted that the health and safety professionals in Ireland will now be able to study for the IOSH-accredited Higher Diploma, which is part of the Centre’s new Adult Continuing Education programme.
“Studying for a qualification at any stage in your life is challenging, and even more so when you’re working full-time,” she said. “I’m pleased that University College Cork, and in particular the Centre for Adult Continuing Education, are committed to the provision of lifelong learning and to the further development of a coherent ladder of educational opportunity for those wishing to study.” The Centre aims to ensure success for its students by offering a flexible approach to learning, with modular assessment consisting of written assignments, project work and written examinations.
“Health and safety professionals studying the IOSH/National University of Ireland accredited Higher Diploma will gain valuable professional knowledge from this course”, said Norita. “Students will also obtain graduate membership of IOSH, which is recognised internationally”.
