The award was presented by the President of GUET, Professor Zhou Huai Ying, during a recent visit to Guilin. The presentation followed a tour of GUET’s new campus conducted by the President. The completed campus will be the largest in China. UCC is GUET’s most important foreign partner.
Professor Fanning said UCC are looking forward to welcoming more students from GUET to its programmes in the next academic year. President Zhou stated that he looks forward to developing a strong long-term partnership between the growing business area in GUET and Economics in UCC including cooperation in Executive Programmes.
GUET is a very welcome addition to the expanding range of partners in China for Economics and indicates the Department’s growing knowledge of China’s education market, its commitment to UCC’s internationalisation strategy and the success of its various China initiatives.
