In a new departure for Adult Education, the Centre for Adult Continuing Education, UCC has recently initiated new programmes in the morning time in co-operation with Cork City Library Service and the Crawford Art Gallery.
These programmes have proved extremely popular and successful and further developments in this cooperative context are planned. Two programmes are running at this time: Masterpieces of Western Painting 1770-1970 (Central Library, Grand Parade, Cork City) and Parallel Worlds: How to Build Them with Words. A Course in Creative and Imaginative Writing (Bishopstown Library, Wilton)
