UCC's Open Day for Schools will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th 2009 from 10am to 3.30pm.

UCC's Open Day for Schools will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th 2009 from 10am to 3.30pm.
Presentations on all degree programmes will be held in various venues around the university campus throughout the day. Additional talks include a presentation specifically for Transition Year students with a focus on course content and subject choice, a presentation for interested mature students, a talk targeted at parents and a presentation on student life given by the Students' Union.
Visiting students will be given the opportunity to discuss each programme, career options and entry procedures with current students and staff at Information Stands in the Main Rest, the Student Centre, the Aula Maxima and Brookfield Health Science Complex.
UCC representatives from Admissions, Careers Service, Accommodation, the Library and the Students' Union will be present in the Aula Maxima, North Wing while the International Education Office and Mature Student Office will be located in the Student Centre. The Disability Support Services will be represented in the Main Rest. Music, entertainment and food stalls will be set up around campus.
The Open Day provides interested students with the opportunity to learn about the academic, sporting and social sides to life at UCC. Senior cycle students, parents and teachers are all welcome.
