Mature Student Application to Arts and Social Science – Apply online by January 20th 2009

If you are applying as a mature student to study an Arts or Social Science programme at University College Cork (UCC) or University College Dublin (UCD), there are two things you need to do:
(1) Apply to the CAO
EU applications must be made online through the Central Applications Office (€35) as soon as possible but no later than January 20th 2009. Visit
http://www.cao.ie/ for full information. Non-EU students should consult each university website for details on the application process. For all other CAO applications, the normal deadline of February 1st 2009 applies.

(2) Apply to sit the MSAP test
The “Mature Student Admissions Pathway” (MSAP) is the new selection process, jointly run by UCC and UCD, for mature students to Arts and Social Science programmes. Once you have applied to the CAO, register online (€65) at http://www.msap.acer.edu.au by January 20th 2009. Applications can be made up until 1 February, but these are subject to a late fee. The test will take place on February 14th 2009
