Commerce Society hosts First Intervarsities Event

This year (2009), the UCC Commerce Society will host the Inaugural Commerce Intervarsity event on Thursday, January 22nd 2009.

This year (2009), the UCC Commerce Society will host the Inaugural Commerce Intervarsity event on Thursday, January 22nd 2009.
Students from Commerce and Business societies from all over Ireland are expected at UCC to participate in the event. The programme will commence at 12 noon in the Aula Maxima with a Seminar on Corporate and Social Responsibility. Admission to the seminar is free and all are welcome.
Speakers will include:
The Intervarsity Ball will be held in the Rochestown Park Hotel on the same evening with a pink champagne and strawberries reception, in keeping with Think Pink theme, at 7.15pm. The ball will then begin at 8pm. Entertainment on the night will be provided by Pat Fitz of You’re A Star and up and coming Cork band, FRED.
All are welcome to both events. Tickets for the Ball available from the UCC Commerce Society at the Boole Basement, UCC.
