The Graduate School in UCC’s College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences (CACSSS) will host its second Postgraduate Conference on Saturday, November 14th 2009.
The response has been very positive with over 50 students showcasing their research. A keynote address will be delivered by Dr Orla Murphy on the Digital Future for Humanities and Social Sciences.
The conference is designed to facilitate training related to the dissemination of research findings, conference presentation and related skills including discussion, negotiation, abstract submission and chairing. Moreover, the conference will provide an opportunity for research students to meet peers from other departments and provide a cultural event for the new research students in the College.
