UCC Students presented with Munster Council GAA Scholarships
15.01.2008

The Munster Council of the GAA presented fifteen students from UCC with GAA Scholarships on Monday, January 14th 2008.  The scholarships are in addition to the 100 Sports Scholarships presented to UCC students last November.

Following a review of the Munster Council Bursary Scheme, at Central Council Level of the GAA, a new improved scheme was launched nationally. As a result, the Bursaries have been replaced by Scholarships and the value has increased.  Each scholarship is now valued at €1,000.
