M.Plan project receives IPI Award
At a ceremony following the IPI Annual Dinner held in the Clarence Hotel, Dublin on November 9th, an M.Plan Year 2 Group Village Exercise received an award as part of the Irish Planning Institute Annual Student Awards scheme.
The award was accepted on behalf of the ‘Gowran Village’ group by Clara O’Neill, recent M.Plan graduate. The project was commended by the IPI panel and specific reference was made to its relevance as a real world planning challenge, as well as the comprehensiveness of the contextual analysis of the village and its surroundings, the creative and pragmatic interventions and the high quality of presentation.
