Three students from University College Cork appointed to Coiste Gnó, Conradh na Gaeilge
UCC students Liam Ó hÓgáin, Antaine Ó Séaghdha and Lúcás Ó Raghallaigh elected to serve on the Executive Committee of Conradh na Gaeilge.
A group of students from UCC attended Conradh na Gaeilge's annual Ard-Fheis which was held in Belfast from 20-22 February. Three of UCC's current undergraduate students were elected to serve on the Executive Committee (Coiste Gnó) - Liam Ó hÓgáin, Antaine Ó Séaghdha and Lúcás Ó Raghallaigh. Two former students were also elected - Bláithín Nic an tSíthigh agus Róisín Nic Liam.
An Coiste Gnó is the executive committee and supreme governing body of Conradh na Gaeilge from one Ard-Fheis to the next. The committee usually convenes every 6 - 8 weeks and discusses the development of the organisation and its Irish-language campaigns, among other things.
