Short Courses

The CPD Team at UCC are happy to discuss your planned course or CPD activity with you. We will work with you to make sure your course is designed and delivered to the highest standard. We will also market your course so that it reaches its target audience.

Course organisers are required to complete a short course proposal application. Course organisers will be asked to submit a course evaluation/feedback report after course completion.

The UCC CPD quality assurance approval procedures are intended to monitor and enhance the quality of courses offered by UCC.  The process also ensures that short courses are appropriately costed, that the courses meet the needs of the target customers, that professional standards associated with developing and running courses are considered, and that course evaluation processes are in place for feedback purposes. Quality assurance is also an essential part of maintaining good practice across the University and to protect the global reputation of the School of Medicine and College of Medicine and Health at UCC, as well as ensure the experience of the participants.
