This webinar celebrates the first health impact assessment carried out on climate action planning in Ireland. The format of the webinar is to provide a brief overview of the HIA process and findings, delivered by Dr Monica O’Mullane (UCC) and Dr Tara Kenny (UCC), with reflections on the process from Donal Sheehan, a member of the HIA Steering Group, and Bernie Connolly, Chair of the HIA-IM Public Involvement Consultation Group and Coordinator of The Environmental Forum.
The HIA was undertaken as part of the
HIA-IM
project, co-hosted in UCC between ISS21 and the School of Public Health. The project is funded by the HRB (# EIA-2022-001).
