In the second event of the School of English’s “Women and the Rising” month, Dr Lucy McDiarmid will deliver a lecture entitled “Gender, the other territorial conflict in the Easter Rising” at the Creative Zone, Boole Library on Tuesday, March 15.

 

Dr McDiarmid is the Marie Frazee-Baldassarre Professor of English at Montclair State University and the author of  At Home in the Revolution: what women said and did in 1916 (Royal Irish Academy).
