Ms Dara O’Keeffe presents at the New Horizons Research Conference in UCC.

Ms Dara O’Keeffe, who is currently a medical student in UCC, presented at the UCC New Horizons conference. Dara presented her dissertation work which was completed as part of a Master of Public Health.
Her presentation, entitled “Predictors of attendance at Diabetic Retinopathy Screening: Secondary analysis of data from a structured diabetes care programme”, reported the results of a secondary analysis of people with type 2 diabetes enrolled in the Midlands Diabetes Structured Care Programme. Dara examined levels of attendance at Diabetic RetinaScreen and predictors of attendance in this cohort.
