Keynote talk by Professor Iris van der Tuin, Utrecht University

On 12 March Professor Iris van der Tuin delivered a feminist philosophical keynote presentation entitled "Jumping Generations - Revisited". Keynote responses were provided by Professor Maggie O'Neill (Sociology & Criminology and ISS21) and Dr Evelien Geerts (Women's Studies & Philosophy). The discussion was moderated by Professor Nuala Finnegan (Dean of Undergraduate & Postgraduate Studies).

This event was organised by Women’s Studies in association with ISS21 Genders, Sexualities and Families research cluster and support from the Philosophy Department.

Bio keynote speaker: Iris van der Tuin is Professor in Theory of Cultural Inquiry (Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies) at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. She is also Utrecht University Dean of Interdisciplinary Education and Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Education in the Faculty of Humanities. Publications include Critical Concepts for the Creative Humanities (w Nanna Verhoeff 2022); Generational Feminism: New Materialist Introduction to a Generative Approach (2015); and New Materialism: Interviews & Cartographies (w Rick Dolphijn 2012).
