Mirades Violeta / Visions in Violet
Saturday 23rd – 5pm – Cork City Libraries
A series of readings, music and performative responses to the work of Catalan feminist pioneers Montserrat Roig and Maria-Mercè Marçal, drawing on recent translations into English by Tiago Miller, Maria Cristina Hall and Megan Berkobien, Helena Buffery and Kathleen McNerney, among others.
Followed by Catalan refreshments and classical guitar by Antanas Keturakis
