Eco-Poetry as Activism, Climate Action and Interdisciplinary Knowledge-Making
Symposium
The Irish Centre for Mexican Studies, at the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, and the SFI Centre MaREI, at the Environmental Research Institute, are pleased to invite you to an interdisciplinary symposium with contributions from colleagues from all UCC colleges and activist Mikeas Sánchez. With the support of the Future Humanities Institute, Collective Social Futures and the Centre for Advanced Studies in Languages and Cultures (CASiLaC).
This event is linked to the Eco-Humanities Research Group and the CASiLaC research clusters Translation and Creative Practice; Rethinking Spatial Humanities; and Violence, Conflict & Gender. With opening remarks by Prof. Nuala Finnegan, Dean of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies.
