Ambassador of Pakistan Visits UCC
President John O’Halloran welcomed H.E. Ms. Mariam Madiha Aftab, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ireland, to UCC on Friday, 30 January 2026.
Ambassador Aftab visited the President’s Office, where she signed the Visitor’s Book and was presented with a gift. Ambassador Aftab was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Shahid Iqbal.
Also in attendance for the meeting were UCC’s Vice President for Global Engagement, Professor Ursula Kilkelly, along with a group of UCC students and teaching faculty of Pakistani nationality or Pakistani origin.
