Visit from Director General of Science Foundation Ireland Professor Philip Nolan

University College Cork welcomed Professor Philip Nolan, Director General of Science Foundation Ireland, to campus on Wednesday 01 June 2022.
Professor Nolan visited the President’s Office on Wednesday afternoon where he met with Professor John O’Halloran, UCC President, and Professor John Cryan, UCC Vice President For Research And Innovation.
Later that evening, Professor Nolan was guest of honour at the University College Cork Research Awards, which were hosted at the Glucksman Gallery. These prestigious awards afford the University an opportunity to celebrate researchers, and those supporting research and innovation, who have made exceptional and influential contributions to research and innovation, and who have raised the national and international profile of UCC.
