Roisin Cassidy awarded a PhD Grant from Breakthrough Cancer Research

Roisin Cassidy was awarded a Breakthrough Cancer Research PhD Scholarship for her PhD project entitled "Chemosensitisation of oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma using epigenetic modifiers and cytotoxic drug polytherapy."

Roisin Cassidy was awarded a Breakthrough Cancer Research PhD Scholarship.  The Breakthrough Cancer Research (Breakthrough) is an Irish medical research charity focused on cancer. They work to significantly impact the number of people who can survive this disease. They invest in world-class research in Ireland to impact the quality of life for cancer patients and save lives. They are particularly focused on improving outcomes for those cancers, which are poorly served by current treatment options.
