NeuroGASTO 2017 at UCC
Dr Niall Hyland was one of the principal organisers of a festival of neurogastroenterology at UCC which culminated in NeuroGASTRO 2017, the flagship conference o the Neurogastroenterology & Motility Society. Over 450 delegates attended from across Europe and the world. This is a leading forum for discussion of the most recent cutting-edge research by leading investigators in the field of neurogastroenterology.
The NeuroGASTRO 2017 Meeting, a well-established European event that brings together leading experts in this field, was secured by local organisers and investigators at UCC, Dr Niall Hyland of the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics and the APC Microbiome Institute, and Drs Siobhain O'Mahony and Gerard Clarke of the APC Microbiome Institute. This is the first time that the meeting was held in Ireland.
